Real Black Wall Street (realblackwallstreet.com) is a nationwide directory of Black-owned and minority-owned businesses across the United States. It is a project of Livingtrill.

2. What We Collect
We collect information only when you actively provide it through one of our forms.
Business listing submissions — when you submit a business to the directory, we collect:
- Business name, category, location (city and state), website, Instagram handle
- Owner name, contact email, price range, and business description
Contact form — when you send us a message, we collect:
- Your name, email address, inquiry type, and message
Takedown requests — when you request a listing removal, we collect:
- Business name and owner email for identity verification
We do not collect payment information, create user accounts, use tracking pixels, or run advertising of any kind.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To review and publish approved business listings in the directory
- To respond to contact form messages and takedown requests
- To send administrative notifications related to your submission
- To prevent spam and abuse via security checks
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating this directory.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for site hosting, database storage, bot protection on forms, workflow automation, and typography. These services may process standard web traffic data (such as IP address and browser type) or form submission data as part of their normal operation. We do not sell or share your data with any of these services beyond what is necessary to operate the site.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
This site does not use tracking cookies or analytics. We use browser localStorage for one purpose only: rate-limiting form submissions to prevent accidental duplicates. This data never leaves your browser.
Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie (__cf_bm) for bot protection. This is a functional security cookie and does not track you across sites.
6. Data Retention
- Business listings — kept in the database for as long as the listing is active. Rejected or removed listings are deleted or marked inactive.
- Contact and inquiry messages — retained in email for as long as reasonably needed to handle the inquiry, then deleted.
- Form submission logs — n8n workflow execution logs are retained briefly for debugging and then purged automatically.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data or your business listing
To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form. We will respond within 5 business days. For listing removal requests, use the Request Takedown option in the site footer.
8. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
